In the first decade of this century Tony Blair’s had a vision of all UK citizens carrying a biometric ID card - which we rightly rejected en masse. Now biometric technology is almost ubiquitous in society, quietly being slipped into shops, behind police surveillance cameras, used at entrances to nurseries and gyms and in the UK our education system now measuring the emotions of children in classrooms, straight from the Chinese handbook.
How do we know when our biometrics are used, who is measuring us and for what reason?
And how can we become aware and stop our society becoming an open air control system.
