About The Alternative View
The Alternative View has no attachment to any particular belief system, dogma or religion. It is and always will be just a platform that offers the opportunity to share information, knowledge, ideas and view points that the governing construct deliberately does not promote or may actively try to shut down. In essence it is a platform for the alternative view.
It All Started at the Beginning
The Alternative View Conference is the brainchild of the late deep geopolitical researcher Ian R Crane.
AV1 made its debut in May 2008 in Totnes, Cornwall, England. AV2 followed in Heathrow, London, in April 2009, AV3 was held in Bristol in October 2009, and Heathrow was again the location for AV4 in March 2010. AV5 & AV6 were held at Staverton Park, Nr Northampton in 2014 & 2015.
AV7 (2015) was the first event to be held at Horwood House, a few miles west of Milton Keynes. The quality of the venue and the exceptional staff have contributed significantly to the success of The Alternative View. So much so that AV8, AV9 and AV10 conferences were again hosted there. AV10.1 returned to London for the last traditional conference before the world changed.
All AV conferences have brought together inspirational, informed and enlightened speakers from around the world. The information presented at the events and captured for posterity is as relevant today as the day it was recorded. Perhaps now even more so, as was always Ian's vision.
The Alternative View Goes Live Stream
Team logistics, Ian's health and the covid situation led to AV11 going out as a live stream event. After a successful broadcast and with no sign of normality returning AV11.1 was also delivered as a live stream broadcast. Although not the weekend residential gatherings The Alternative View is known for and that are loved by the delegates, live streams did at least offer a level of continuity and access to some great speakers and presentations during restrictive times.
The success of live streaming has lead to this format becoming a valuable and regular part the project's future. Our goal is to offer the popular residential gatherings as we have successfully done before plus use live streaming to offer a variety of online content and productions which can be created and delivered faster in response to the speed and pace of the current changes in the world.
The Alternative View Future
In May 2022 a new team was put in place to continue the project Ian loved. Driven by the desire to keep his vision and spirit alive the team are embracing new technologies, new ideas and new formats to expand the potential and reach of AV. The new project umbrella name of Alternative View Media allows for a wider variety of events and productions and offers a bigger and brighter future for Ian's vision.
The first production of the new team was AV12 in September 2022. Again delivered as a live stream broadcast it allowed the team to find their feet and settle in to their roles. The goal is to return to the much loved hotel format for The Alternative View 13 Conference in 2023 world events permitting. After that, we'll let the universe and Ian guide us but already we have plans for smaller talks in places such as Glastonbury with one or two speakers in a more intimate setting. Audio presentations and interviews under the banner The Alternative View Presents are also in the pipeline.
There is no substitute for the atmosphere and networking that can be found at live events such as the full weekend conference experience. With the chosen venue it will allow everyone to escape from the outside world for a few days. There has never been a better time to move to the next level in understanding the nature of reality, what is really going on behind the scenes, in the corridors of power ... and being with other like-minded people who not only realize that 'Something isn't right' but are also motivated to contribute to bringing about the changes WE ALL KNOW we need to see.
